SEO issue: links do not have descriptive text
Problem
Some SEO analyzers, like Google Pagespeed Insights could tell you, that your "links do not have descriptive text".
Possible causes
Non-textual layers
This issue happens when you are using a non-textual layer, like an image layer with a link on it. "Descriptive text" means simply "text", and as an image is not a text, they are addressing this as an issue.
The solution in this case is, that you should only use links on textual layers, like heading, button or text layer.
Or you can ignore this message, because it isn't an error, just an improvement suggestion. So your SEO won't be negatively affected by an image with a link on it. But the same link on a text would be better for search engines, as they would have more information about where it leads to.
Generic texts
As you read at the link of Google's description about the problem, Google does not accept generic texts, like "click here" or "read more". The link's text should tell where it leads to, without any other context. So for example if you show a WordPress post's description, don't insert a "read more" link at it, but rather "read the post".
