With this dynamic slide generator you can show the contents of your EasyBlog posts.

Tutorial

Step 1

To get started, go to any Slider Settings page and add a new dynamic slide. Choose EasyBlog .

Step 2

Set up your generator. Choose the settings you want. Popular options you probably want to configure: category where your content will be pulled from, the number of slides you want to have, the ordering of the content.

You can also click on the View Records button to see the data you'll be creating your slide with.

When you're done, click on Add .

Step 3

After you saved your generator, you'll be redirected to the Slide Editor to set up the look of your slide. You can create your content by using variables.

Configuration

You can use these options to set what you want your generator to show.

Filter

Categories

You can select the categories from where you want the posts.

Tags

You can select tags to filter your posts from the selected categories.

Include subcategories

You can include posts from the selected main category's subcategories, without having to select them all.

User id

You can write one user's id in here, and only those posts will be in your slider, which were created by them.

Frontpage

You can select to show posts based on the Blog Frontpage option.

Featured

You can choose to show only the featured, not featured or all items.

Exclude ID

You can exclude posts by their ID which you don't want to show.

Order

Field

The field which decides the ordering of your content.

  • Title
  • Category title
  • Username
  • Ordering
  • Creation time
  • Modification time
Order

The order direction.

  • Ascending
  • Descending

Variables

These are the available variables you can use to build your dynamic slide content in the Slide Editor.

  • title The title of the post.
  • description The main content of the post.
  • url Url to the post.
  • thumbnail - The cover image of the post.
  • category_url Url to the category of the post.
  • category_title The title of the post's category.
  • blogger The nickname of the post's blogger.
  • created_by_id The id of the post's blogger.
  • creation_time The creation date and time of the post.
  • modification_time The modification date and time of the post.
  • permalink The alias of the post.
  • content The content of the post.
  • latitude The latitude of the post's location.
  • longitude The longitude of the post's location.
  • address The address of the post's location.
  • hits The number of hits of the post.
  • category_id The id of the post's category.
  • id The id of the post.
